History

I was the first employee of iScout. At the time, it was only 3 people. We were 2 devs and a third who was familiar with the industry. We grew to ~10 people and were doing quite well. However, it felt like we couldn’t “break out” of our niche. So they looked for a partner who could help. We eventually aligned with KPA. And I remained after the acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and design new services and features.
• Undertake projects alone or as lead developer on a team of 3-5. Notable projects include: Workflows, SDS, QODs, Scheduled Tasks, multiple PDF Renderers.
• Multiple platform and database provider migrations 😓
• Optimized schemas, queries and developed new tooling to handle scalability challenges. Our average client-size grew from companies with a few hundred employees to 100k+.
